BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

 

Here's a brief list of the styles and concepts I teach:



* Hand Technique

* Rock, R&B, Reggae, Funk, Brazilian rhythms such as: Samba, Bossa Nova

  Baiao, Frevo, Maracatu, Coco, Ciranda, Caboclinhos and more.

* Time, groove and sense of pulse

* Music theory basics: notes, rhythms and reading music.

* American Rudiments

* Rudiments applied to Brazilian rhythms

* Various styles such as: Funk, Rock, Brazilian: Samba, Bossa Nova

 Baiao, Frevo, Maracatu, Coco, Ciranda, Caboclinhos and more.



How I teach:

I believe it is extremely important to help each student reach her or his individual goals, acknowledging that they may be different from another's. Every student is unique, and every student is well-suited to some teaching methods and not others.

I am also offering some Skype lessons for your convenience.
